About Lesia Cartelli

Lesia S. Cartelli is founder and CEO of the national nonprofit Angel Faces, which provides healing retreats and year-round support to adolescent girls and women who have experienced disfiguring trauma and burn injuries. Cartelli has received many prestigious awards including the Heart of a Woman Award on the Dr. Phil Show. She is author of Heart of Fire, a memoir available at as well as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. She has been featured on CNN’s “Human Factor” with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, ABC NEWS 20/20, and PBS, among other national TV media venues.
